Chadwick BOSEMAN has died

Chadwick Boseman, the man who taught the world to dream of a place where Black people were equal, powerful and free has died. BOSEMAN died of colon cancer at the age of 43 Friday in his LA home with his wife and family by his side according to a statement from his rep. Nicki Fioravante. The star and creator of atheism Oscar winning Marvel film “Black Panther” worked through his diagnosis without disclosing he was ill.
"It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman," the Instagram post said. "Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016, and battled with it these last 4 years as it progressed to stage IV."
"A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy."
Boseman died on the date that Jackie Robinson integrated baseball. He had played the baseball legend in the film 42.
Boseman, a graduate of Howard University who was born in South Carolina, did not have any children.
