The aircraft landed safely on runway 10L about 22 minutes later. Emergency service found no trace of fire or heat. Incident: Frontier A318 at Denver on Feb 14th 2011, bird strike By Simon Hradecky, created Tuesday, Feb 15th 2011 17:17Z, last updated Tuesday, Feb 15th 2011 17:18Z A Frontier Airlines Airbus A318-100, registration N803FR performing flight F9-226 from Denver,CO to Madison,WI (USA), had just become airborne when the crew declared emergency reporting a bird strike into the left hand engine (CFM56). The crew returned to Denver for a safe landing about 9 minutes later. A replacement Airbus A319-100 registration N939FR reached Madison with a delay of 90 minutes. The FAA reported the aircraft received minor damage. Incident: Aeroflot A320 and Rusline CRJ2 near Krasnojarsk on Feb 14th 2011, loss of separation By Simon Hradecky, created Tuesday, Feb 15th 2011 16:52Z, last updated Tuesday, Feb 15th 2011 16:56Z An Aeroflot Airbus A320-200, registration VQ-BAZ performing flight SU-747 from Moscow Sheremetyevo to Irkutsk (Russia) with 107 passengers, was enroute at 10100 meters (approx. FL330) about 170km (92nm) northwest of Krasnojarsk. A Rusline Canadair CRJ-200 on behalf of Ural Airlines, flight U6-4820 from Krasnojarsk to Ekaterinburg (Russia) with 32 passengers, was also at 10100 meters (approx. FL330) about 170km northwest of Krasnojarsk at the same time. The West Siberian Transport Prosecution Office reported that a dangerous convergence of the two aircraft occurred at the same flight level. An investigation has been initiated. The office did not report how the loss of separation was resolved (e.g. by TCAS resolution) and how close the aircraft actually came. Both aircraft reached their destinations safely.
